Endorsement of Enterprise Standards and Certification of Professional Qualifications in the Workplaces
Currently, technology is advancing rapidly, making it challenging for agencies responsible for producing and developing the workforce to effectively respond to the needs of employers. However, the Thailand Professional Qualification Institute (Public Organization) is confident that every organization has an effective employee development process. These organizations can actively participate in the development of Thailand’s workforce to meet demand, while also transforming these workers into a skilled labor force that benefits both the organization and the country.
Organizations with HRD system to equip employees with necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform their jobs according to enterprise standards should be supported so that their employees could also obtain Professional Qualifications certification. Professional qualifications are equivalent with academic qualifications. It provides employees with formal recognition of their professional knowledge and skills in order to facilitate career advancement or further education and training. This recognition is made possible through a joint certification process between the Thailand Professional Qualification Institute (Public Organization) and your organization.
Eligible Organizations
A factory, company, or business entity that is registered under domestic or international commercial registration laws or relevant laws as well as government agencies are eligible.

Operational Guidelines
Companies, enterprises, and factories that have in-house training and competency assessment could map their schemes to TPQI’s standards. If they are aligned, those who successfully complete the in-house training or pass the assessment will be entitled to acquire “professional qualification certificate” and/or “certificate of competencies.”
* On the job training, company’s standardized training, and training based on Department of Skills’ standards are also covered within the term “training program.”

- “Enterprise standards” endorsed by TPQI
If TPQI does not have occupational standards relevant for the positions in the company, the company could set up their own “enterprise standard” and apply for TPQI’s endorsement so that such standard could lead to training, assessment, and professional qualification certification.

The system facilitates the integration of training results or enterprise training programs into the Digital Competency Credit Bank, enabling the transfer of credits to the academic sector.
